# BMS Assembly There are several ways to approach the physical construction of the BMS hardware, depending on your technical equipment and budget. You can choose between the following assembly variants: - **Full Outsourcing:** You can order both the PCB (Printed Circuit Board) manufacturing and the component assembly (PCBA) from a professional service provider. - **Partial Outsourcing (DIY Assembly):** You can order only the bare PCB from a manufacturer and perform the component assembly yourself. ## Required Documentation for Manufacturing To place an order with a manufacturer or to prepare for self-assembly, specific files are required. These are provided in the project folder: - **BOM (Bill of Materials):** This document lists all the electrical components required for the project. It includes detailed information such as part numbers, quantities, and technical specifications. - **Component Placement List (CPL/Pick and Place):** This file specifies the exact coordinates and orientation of every component on the board. - **Gerber Files:** These files contain the layout data for the PCB itself, including the copper layers, solder mask, and silkscreen instructions. All necessary files are pre-configured and stored in the dedicated hardware subfolder of the repository.
